It was tidy and the staff were really helpful and fairly friendly, beds were comfy. The room was more than good-sized and included a nice looking bathroom. It was nice to have a lounge, a kettle, and an iron.

I had a very pleasant stay for 8 nights. the family twin room was airy and comfortable, featuring a cozy bed, a lounge area, a kettle, and an iron. the hotel is conveniently located near the hospital, the beautiful esplanade, and a variety of restaurants.

The rooms were spotlessly clean, with a hair dryer, a kettle, and an iron. The hotel was in an excellent location just next door to the cbd and activities for the kids, esplanade, and Tropical Queenslander.

We truly enjoyed the feel of this great budget hotel, very FAMILY. The staff were super friendly and really friendly, a real pleasure to deal with. The property's location was favourable and handy, close to several tourost attractions.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were very bad.

Large room, parking available, large and clean pool, located on the beach and close to the airport, situated outside the city center
Super worn out bathroom with very old and not inviting bathtub. One of the TVs didn't work thanks to a missing remote control, WLAN didn't work, the switch at one of the sockets was broken, so that it didn't work, the terrace door squeaked and the joints at the doors were very dirty

The location near the beach and walking distance to the city center. Great mattresses, very comfortable night. Air conditioning works perfectly. Good equipment of the mini kitchen. Friendly staff in the morning when checking out
Light mould stains on curtains and in the bathroom. Very bad entrance (deep hollow) to the hotel parking lot from the back. Longer vehicles get stuck. Disinterested staff at the check in.

This was very suitable family accommodation with space and daily light service. It was convenient to the Esplanade 10 mins walk. Local shops, deli, supermarket, bakery, various take-aways, etc. are located behind the apartments 5min walk away...though you have to cross a busy road.
We were not informed about the groceries shops at the rear of the building so had to go shopping in town in larger shops which was a bit inconvenient at times. The use of the internet was expensive at 6 dollars for an hour. You couldnt use it at night as there was nobody on the desk to give you a key of the internet room after approx 8p.M. The laundry was ok for washing but the dryer didnt dry the clothes unless you put them in 3 times...at 3dollars each time. It was inconvenient at times. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would stay there again.

Super friendly staff, clean rooms, air conditioning, comfortable beds, breakfast.
Unfortunately, there were a lot of cockroaches in the first room, but on request I immediately got another, absolutely insect-free room.

As my wife had a walking disability due to a recent knee replacement our request for a ground level room with shower only and close to parking was met by the hotel including contact to confirm she did not require wheelchair access to the shower. All well done. Diggers Restaurant provides good meals at competitive prices.
